The African Mission Training Institute (AMTI), Kitui Main Campus, recently held its first Board of Trustees meeting of the year, marking an important step in strengthening the institution’s governance framework. During the meeting, the Board formally approved key Governance and Management Policies in line with the requirements set by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA), following the inspection visit conducted on 16th December last year.
This milestone reflects AMTI’s commitment to operating with clear structures, accountability, and alignment with national standards. The approved policies will play a critical role in guiding the institute’s operations, supporting quality delivery, and ensuring sustainable growth as AMTI continues to expand its impact.
The meeting also highlighted the spirit of generosity and shared purpose within the AMTI community. We extend our sincere appreciation to Board member Dr. Nzomo Mwita for his generous donation of leadership and management books to enrich our library resources. This contribution will greatly benefit our students and faculty, enhancing learning and research across our programs.
As AMTI moves forward, we remain committed to building a strong foundation for excellence—through sound governance, quality education, and a supportive learning environment.
